Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps she plans to take to ensure social prescribing plays a cross-cutting role in the Major Conditions Strategy.
This question was answered on 5th June 2023
The Department is working with partners to determine the appropriate role for social prescribing for the Major Conditions Strategy. The strategy is still evolving, and the Department recently put out a call for evidence. The interim report will be published soon.
