Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what estimate he has made of the number of overpayments in NHS staff wages in each of the last three years.
This question was answered on 13th June 2023
The Department sets the national terms and conditions for National Health Service staff, it is down to local organisations to implement these correctly. The Department does not hold data on overpayments and therefore no such estimate has been made.
