Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, with reference to the Civil Service headquarters occupancy data, updated on 1 June 2022, if he will make an assessment of the potential impact of occupancy rates on his Department's performance during May 2023.
Occupancy rate and hybrid working does not affect the Departments ability to deliver high quality work. HM Treasury has a hybrid working policy in place in which it requires staff to attend the office for 50% of their working week.
The Treasury is keeping its ways of working and the amount of space it requires under review.
