The Window for Host Communities and Refugees (WHR) is a window within the International Development Association (IDA; part of the World Bank Group), created in IDA18 (the eighteenth replenishment of IDA) to deliver support to refugees and host communities. The UK was the largest donor to IDA18 (2017-20) and IDA19 (2021-22), with contributions of £2.52 billion and £3.06 billion. Of the total IDA18 envelope of $75 billion, $1.9 billion was channelled through this window. For IDA19, $1.3 billion was channelled from a $71 billion envelope.
