Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether his Department has made a comparative assessment of the availability of access to palliative care by (a) geography, (b) socioeconomic status and (c) each protected characteristic.

No specific assessment has been made. Palliative and end of life care is commissioned locally by integrated care boards in response to the needs of their local population.
