Question to the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero:

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, what progress he has made on meeting the UK's G7 commitments.

Britain is leading the G7 in tackling climate change. Between 1990 and 2021 the UK cut emissions by 48% while growing the economy by 65%, decarbonising faster than any other G7 country. The Government’s plan, as set out in Powering Up Britain, shows how the Government will enhance the country’s energy security, seize the economic opportunities of the clean energy transition and deliver on its net zero commitments, including those made at the G7.
