Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what data his Department holds on the underspend for the Restart scheme as of 12 June 2023.

To the end of P2 2023/24 accounts the life to date budget for Restart is £852.9m. Expenditure to date for the same time period is £834.9m. This is the latest financial data that we hold as the Department does not hold budget and actual date for mid-month financial reporting.
