To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, how many new apprenticeships have been created in the UK since the 2015 general election.

Information on apprenticeship starts is published as part of a Statistical First Release.

Latest data show that there were 115,300 apprenticeship starts between 1 May and 31 July 2015.
