Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if he will make an assessment of the potential impact of implementing a radiotherapy strategy on waiting times for cancer treatment.

We have no current plans to make a specific assessment. From April 2022, the responsibility for investing in new radiotherapy machines sits with local health systems.
