Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what recent discussions he has had with landowning bodies about the need to cover complete badger cull areas.

Defra Ministers regularly meet landowning bodies. Badger culling operations are undertaken voluntarily under licence and the decision of landowners on whether or not to participate is respected.
