Asylum: Hotels

Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what the cost was to the public purse of Britannia group hotels for housing asylum seekers in (a) the UK, (b) the North West Region and (c) Halton Borough in the last (i) three, (ii) six, (iii) 12 and 24 months.

The Home Office does not release these costs due to commercial sensitivity.
