Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, with reference to the oral contribution of the Minister for Disabled People, Health and Work on 19 June 2023, column 565, in response to the Rt hon Member for New Forest West, how the National Disability Strategy and the Disability Action Plan will interrelate.

The Disability Action Plan is separate from, and in addition to, the National Disability Strategy. The Disability Action Plan will set out how we will go further in 2023 and 2024 to improve disabled people’s lives, while the National Disability Strategy, which set out our long term vision, is subject to ongoing litigation.
