Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what discussions he has had with his counterparts in countries from which the NHS recruits staff on (a) language and (b) clinical language education in those countries.

Whilst there have been no specific discussions on the part of the Secretary of State, the Department regularly engages with relevant counterparts from which the National Health Service recruits staff on the topics of language and clinical language education in those countries.
