Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether he has had discussions with the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care on the deterrent effect of the excise duty on vaping products.

The Government has no current plans to apply an excise duty to non-tobacco nicotine or vaping products.

Tax matters are kept under constant review, with any announcements made at fiscal events.
