Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what assessment his Department has made of the potential merits of rolling out rail-5G on passenger trains.

The Department continues to work closely with Network Rail and industry to explore solutions to improve connectivity on trains, which includes rolling out rail 5G on passenger trains. However, no decision has yet been taken.
