Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what recent discussions he has held with National Highways on removal of litter from the side of roads for which it has responsibility.

I meet with National Highways on monthly basis to discuss their performance and management of the strategic road network. This includes discussions on National Highways’ litter performance and their responsibilities for clearance on the network.
