To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, if he will make it his policy to end flights by private jet; and if he will make a statement.

The Government is committed to tackling climate change – and doing so without imposing unnecessary burdens on individuals or businesses.
Analysis in the Jet Zero Strategy shows that the sector can achieve net zero aviation by 2050 without the need for direct interventions to limit aviation growth, which has significant economic and social benefits, by focusing on new fuels and technologies.
