Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what estimate he has made of the potential cost to the public purse of translation services used by the NHS in financial years (a) 2022-2023 and (b) 2021-2022.

Information on expenditure on translation services is not held centrally by NHS England, and NHS England has not estimated the potential cost to the public purse of these services used by the National Health Service.
