Transport in London is devolved to the Mayor of London and Transport for London (TfL). The Department has regular discussions with TfL on a range of issues, however, the management of air quality on the London Underground is a matter solely for them. More widely, responsibility for air quality within London is devolved from the Secretary of State to the Mayor of London.
