Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what discussions he has had with the York Central Strategic Board on the economic case for the York Central site once (a) HS2, (b) the Transpennine Upgrade, (c) Northern Powerhouse Rail and (d) the East Coast Main Line upgrade are completed.

Progress on this important project is monitored through internal governance processes in my Department, Homes England, and Network Rail.
