Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what recent assessment he has made of the (a) effectiveness of and (b) timeliness of complaint resolutions by the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman.
This question was answered on 24th June 2022
No assessment has been made. The Ombudsman reports directly to Parliament through the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee, which holds an annual scrutiny session to evaluate performance.
