Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what data their Department holds on the average response time to enquiries by Members; and what assessment they have made of the adequacy of that response time.

Since the start of the 2022/23 Parliamentary Year to September 2023 the Department has answered 87% of correspondence from Members within the cross government target of 20 working days. This works out about 12.4 days per letter on average.
