Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to the Answer of 13 March 2014, Official Report, column 356W, on medical records: databases, whether all third parties to which identifiable NHS Patient data has been disclosed under care.data will be routinely audited to ensure that the terms of the agreement are being followed.

No data has been collected or provided yet under the care.data programme. The Health and Social Care Information Centre is implementing plans to strengthen its audit capabilities in relation to data sharing.
