Question to the Department for Business and Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, what assessment she has made of the adequacy of the average time taken by her Department to respond to freedom of information requests in the 2022-23 financial year.

The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) was formed on 7 February 2023 and took responsibility for processing Freedom of Information Requests from 1 July 2023 from predecessor departments. For this reason, we do not have 2022-2023 financial year FOI statistics for DBT.
