Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what the average time taken to respond to public inquiries by his Department was in each of the last five years; and whether he plans to introduce measures to improve this.

The Department for Transport has not led the formal Government response to any of the statutory public inquiries published in the last 5 years under the Inquiries Act 2005.
