Question to the Cabinet Office:
To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, what information their Department holds on the level of staff retention; and what steps they are taking to improve staff retention.

In January 2023, Cabinet Office launched its people transformation programme ‘A Better Cabinet Office’ (ABCO). The core aim is to improve the way it feels to work in the Cabinet Office and positively impact staff engagement and retention. Minister are clear that we must have the best talent that delivers for the tax payer.
Unplanned Civil service turnover in the Cabinet Office was 10% in (2022/23).
