Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, whether he has had discussions with Cabinet Colleagues on the potential merits of increasing the level of funding for the Better Care Fund.
This question was answered on 12th September 2023
On 4 April 2023 the Government published the Better Care Fund Policy Framework for 2023-25, which sets the national conditions, metrics and funding arrangements for the Better Care Fund in the financial years 2023-24 and 2024-25. Funding levels for the Better Care Fund beyond 2024-25 will be considered by the Government at the next Spending Review.
