Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if she will bring forward legislative proposals to introduce a new offence whereby a prosecution can be brought on the basis of a course of conduct in which a person has acted strategically to control, isolate, intimidate and degrade their victim in domestic violence cases.

It has not proved possible to respond to the Hon. Member in the time available before Prorogation.
