Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether Network Rail is entitled to carry over funds for each financial year in Control Period 6 between 2019 and 2024.

Given the size of its capital spending portfolio, Network Rail will be granted financial flexibilities over its spending which will allow it to move funds between financial years, to reflect the inherent volatility of capital spending.
