Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many care homes were rated inadequate by the CQC in each of the last 13 years.

The Care Quality Commission started rating care home locations in October 2014.
The number of care homes rated inadequate by year is displayed in the table below.
