Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answer of 3 December 2018 to Question 196693 on Fires: Solar Power, what processes are in place to ensure that local fire and rescue services are made aware of relevant reports and are able to determine whether they wish to consider and implement report recommendations.

It is for individual fire and rescue authorities to ensure they have access to up to date information to inform their procedures and policies.

The National Operational Guidance Programme consisting of London Fire Brigade, the National Fire Chiefs Council and the Local Government Association, makes available operational guidance to local fire and rescue services and any decisions on amendments to guidance rests with them.
