Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether she has made an assessment of the adequacy of the operational capacity of the Welsh police forces to enforce 20mph speed limits; and if she will make a statement.

Enforcement of 20mph speed limits and deployment of available resources is an operational matter for individual Chief Constables and Police and Crime Commissioners to determine, taking into account the specific local problems and demands with which they are faced.
