Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, with reference to the Answer of 1 May 2014, Official Report, columns 813-4W, on social security benefits, what estimate he has made of the annual savings from the fewer days on benefits for participants in the community work placement and mandatory intervention regime schemes.

The estimated benefit savings from Help to Work, which includes community work placement and the mandatory intervention regime, is £25 million in 2013-14, £130 million in 2014-15 and £140 million in 2015-16.
