Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what the total number of student midwives has been in each of the last three years for which figures are available.

The following table provides the annual population of student midwives from 2011-12 to 2013-14. The table includes students enrolled on the degree and 18 month diploma courses.
