Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what his Department’s policy is on the minimum level of provision of standard speed Wi-Fi that will be required in future railway franchise bids; and if he will make a statement.

The department has had discussions with operators on the provision of wi-fi as part of the Annual Business Plan for the next financial year.
