Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, whether he plans to introduce charges for general practitioner appointments; and if he will make a statement.

The Government believes that the National Health Service should be free at the point of use and there are no plans to introduce charges for general practitioner appointments.
