Question to the Northern Ireland Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, what work has been undertaken by officials in her Department to support Northern Ireland's regional and international air links in 2014 to date.

A strong network of air links is vital to boost both trade and tourism to Northern Ireland as well as benefiting the general public.

My officials remain in contact with their counterparts in the Department for Transport, the Northern Ireland Departments of Enterprise, Trade and Investment and Regional Development to support air links from Northern Ireland and discuss matters that arise.
