Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, with reference to page 99 of the Williams-Shapps plan for rail, what steps he is taking to increase the (a) recruitment and (b) retention of a diverse workforce across the rail sector.

The Great British Railways Transition Team (GBRTT) have developed and adopted a set of inclusive recruitment design principles to improve how the sector connects with, assesses, and hires people from diverse backgrounds.
