The E3+3 and Iran agreed in Lausanne on 2 April that a robust and credible regime for monitoring of the provisions of a comprehensive agreement would be put in place, including implementation of the modified code 3.1 and the Additional Protocol. A comprehensive nuclear deal with Iran that addresses our proliferation concerns will need to be fully verifiable by the International Atomic Energy Agency in order to reassure the international community that Iran’s nuclear programme is exclusively peaceful.
