Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many staff within her Department were working on the development of the Advance British Standard as of October 2023.

Officials in the Department support the government to deliver education and children’s social care priorities. The Department’s vision is for a workforce with world class skills which is flexible and can be deployed quickly to priority areas. As the Advanced British Standard is a priority, cross cutting reform, officials from across the Department are engaging in this work.
