Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what his policy is on implementing a ban on pesticide neonictinoids; and if he will make a statement.

Decisions on the approval of pesticide active substances are made at European level. Last year, the European Union (EU) withdrew approval for the use of three neonicotinoids on a number of crops. The UK Government has implemented these restrictions on neonicotinoids.
