Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, when his Department last conducted a review of evidence concerning the long-term health effects of emergency hormonal contraception; what evidence that review took into account; and if he will commission another such review.

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency keeps the safety of all medicines, including emergency hormonal contraception, under continuous review.
