Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how much the NHS spent on (a) Weight Watchers programmes, (b) Slimming World programmes and (c) any other branded weight loss programme in each of the last five financial years.

The Department and Public Health England do not hold the financial details on National Health Service expenditure on branded weight loss programmes. The determination as to what lifestyle weight management services are commissioned remains a local consideration.
