Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many people have been notified of the need to self isolate by the NHS Covid-19 App in each month of 2021.

The Department does not hold data in the format requested.  Users can be asked to isolate for three reasons – contact tracing, reporting symptoms or entering a positive test and alerts sent for these reasons. The number of alerts sent by the NHS COVID-19 app for each of these reasons on a weekly basis is available at the following link:
