Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many people were admitted to hospital with a (a) primary and (b) secondary diagnosis of liver disease in each year since 2010.

The attached table shows a count of finished admission episodes (FAEs) for individuals who were admitted to hospital with a primary and secondary diagnosis of liver disease from 2009-10 to 2012-13.
