To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many patients received hospital transport in each of the last five years.

The following table shows how many patients received special/planned transport in each of the last five years.

Clinical commissioning groups also commission patient transport services; however, cost data is not collected centrally.

Information on the average cost of providing a patient with hospital transport is not collected centrally.
