Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, when he last met representatives of the insurance industry to discuss basic insurance products for low-income housholds in the private and social rented sectors.

Treasury Ministers and officials routinely meet with a wide range of stakeholders as part of the process of policy development.

The Treasuryhas not made an assessment of households in the UK which are not covered by household insurance in the social rented sector and private rented sector.
