To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, pursuant to the Answer of 7 July 2014, Official Report, column 128W, on disabled students' allowances, whether his Department will provide supplemental funding to higher education institutions to support students likely to require extra reasonable adjustments as a result of changes to disabled students allowance.

The Government is consulting stakeholders about the proposed changes. These consultations will help inform the Equality Analysis, which will include an estimate of the savings that might be expected from the proposals, once agreed.
