Question to the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade, pursuant to the answer of 16 July 2026, to Question 14623, on DSIT: Secondment, whether guidance has been given to other departments which have released information on secondments.

BIST holds no guidance that is specific to the public disclosure of information regarding secondments. In deciding what information is disclosed in these instances, the department will take account of its obligations under the UK GDPR, an act that all government departments must adhere to. BIST is unable to say whether guidance has been given to other departments about the release of information on secondments.
