Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what the average cost per mile to the consumer was for rail journeys between (a) Oxford and London Paddington, (b) Oxford Parkway and London Paddington, (c) Oxford and London Marylebone and (d) Oxford Parkway and London Marylebone in 2018.

The Department does not hold data on the average cost per mile of journeys between different destinations. The cost per mile for individual passengers will depend on the ticket purchased.
